Greening ICT Book: Greening ICT is a book on green activity in the information and communication technology (ICT) sector. It will introduce the green ICT concept to a general business and technology audience and to help people working in the field to make better big picture decisions about their work. Broadband Adoption in Low-Income Communities: In February 2009, as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, Congress told the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that they must deliver a comprehensive national broadband plan within a year. Through the Social Science Research Council, our research team (Amelia Bryne, Dharma Dailey and Alison Powell) helped to inform the FCC’s plan. Specifically, we were asked to flesh out the barriers to getting broadband at home - something more than 30% of Americans don’t have. Learn More >>
